You Are In Love (Gojo Satoru x You)
summary: you can't stop dreaming about him, and your friends start to notice a change in your behavior. (2.4k words)
cw/tags: mild angst to comfort, friends to lovers, pining, idiots in love, profanity, elder sorcerers being assholes, pet names (doll, gorgeous, etc), uhh gojo loses his cool and blows up a building lol, kissing, one instance of foreshadowing manga spoilers but only if you squint
note: HELLOO GOJO NATION. ok so i'll be so honest with you, this stupid man was my #1 for so long and i think those feelings resurfaced so i got a little carried away with writing this (it's my longest fic so far, my bad). but yk something about gojo, hawks, and kuroo all being played by the voice actor just gets me. the prompt for this is from the AMAZING @creativepromptsforwriting and was supposed to be a drabble but turned into a full fic. anyways, hope you enjoy it!!
likes/reblogs/feedback are always appreciated!
âItâs too quiet. Can I tell you guys a joke I heard on TV?â
âMmm, please donât.â
âBut itâs funny!â
âSatoru.â
âOoh, using my first name. Somethingâs up with you.â
âSomething is not up with me, weirdo.âÂ
âNo, something is definitely off with you today.â You thought Suguru and Shoko had stopped listening, but they chimed in with evidence of your odd behavior.
âYou said good morning differently,â Shoko added, casually taking a sip of her soda and peering at you over the rim. Her hair sways gently in the breeze outside of the convenience store you four had stopped at before heading back to Jujutsu Tech. You glare at her and open your mouth to defend yourself when Suguru adds his two cents.Â
âYou tripped up during that last mission that should have been a cakewalk,â which was true, but you thought your mistake had gone unnoticed. The truth was, the spirit had caught you off guard with a simple teleport trick. It warped behind you and unlatched its grotesque jaws to end your life faster than you could blink. You should have been able to predict the movement with your eyes closed, but youâd been too focused on making sure a certain white-haired sorcerer was alive after your group had been ambushed several hundred feet underground. Suguru had given you a curious look after one of his demons saved your ass, and youâd flipped him off hoping that would be the end of it. âAnd you also flipped me the bird instead of saying thank you,â he shrugged.
âYou also finish your food the fastest out of all of us, and today you havenât even taken three bites,â Shoko says, finishing her drink and standing to toss it in the trash bin. âSomethingâs going on with you, and I, for one, am incredibly curious as to why.â Satoru watches you with a smug glint in his eye, and it takes all your willpower not to strangle him.Â
âAs glad as I am to know that you all pay such great attention to my habits, I promise thereâs nothing wrong.â The three of them stare at you skeptically but thankfully decided to drop the subject, instead pivoting to whoâs most likely to go to jail first (itâs Gojo).Â
After the late lunch, you begin the walk back to Jujutsu Tech as the sky transforms into faded shades of orange and pink. The vanishing sun casts shining reflections on the surrounding skyscrapers, bouncing off the windows of speeding cars and zooming trains. Satoru and Suguru walk ahead, playfully shoving each other and almost falling over doing so.Â
âAlright, are you gonna tell me whatâs going on now that Dumb and Dumber arenât here?â Shoko asks as she falls into step with you. The sides of your mouth turn down, realizing that she didnât forget about your conversation at lunch. It wasnât that you didnât want to tell your closest friends what was going on; you just didnât know how to explain what you had dreamed about the previous night and the night before that, and all the nights the past two weeks.Â
It began with a look he had given you after a meeting with some higher-ups in the sorcerer world. They had visited Jujutsu Tech unexpectedly, stating that they would be evaluating the skill levels of random students. Out of your group of friends, only you and Satoru had been pulled to be tested. Principal Yaga had instructed both of you before entering the room to give the evaluation your best effort and to not become indignant if they judged you poorly.Â
The brass declared your evaluation to be first, and you poured all of your energy into showcasing the power of your Cursed Technique. You even managed to pull off a few strikes of extension techniques that youâd been perfecting for months. Though the entire performance lasted less than ten minutes, you were breathless and light-headed when the panel told you to stop. After bowing deeply, you moved to exit the room, desperate for fresh air, but they stopped you and began listing every single reason why your demonstration was unsatisfactory. Besides âinefficient technique, predictable attacks, weak offense, insufficient defense,â and a general lack of power compared to that of other sorcerers at your level, they informed you that your Cursed Technique was obsolete and would eventually render you useless as more innately talented sorcerers take your place. You were speechless at their blunt criticism of your effort, on the verge of breaking down, but you managed to nod in acknowledgment as you stepped out of the room.
But then you saw him sitting there, waiting on his phone and looking up at you with a bright smile as he stood to greet you. A confusing blend of disappointment, anger, sadness, and loneliness panged in your heart and spread to the rest of your body, and you rapidly tried to blink away the moisture welling up in your eyes while Satoru approached. He was halfway through a snarky remark about you blowing away their expectations when his smile dropped and his eyebrows furrowed with concern. Shit, heâd noticed you crying.Â
âHey, hey, hey, look at me. What the fuck did they do to you?â Dashing blue eyes found yours through the clouds in your vision, and his thumbs gently brushed away stray tears that escaped down your cheeks.Â
âDo you think Iâm weak, Satoru?â Your voice cracks when the words finally spill out, swallowing hard to push down the sobs threatening to break loose from your constricted lungs. Satoru freezes, eyes searching yours. He doesnât answer your question immediately, but instead asks again.Â
âDoll, what the fuck did they do.â You canât get a reply out in time before his focus snaps up to behind you, and a second later you hear the door roll open, one of the officials commanding Satoru to enter for his evaluation. His large hands hold your face and turn you to look up at him, and you move unconsciously to cover his hands with yours. âStay here for me, okay?â He glanced at the official waiting in the doorway, blue eyes dark with suppressed rage. âThis wonât take long.â
His evaluation lasts two minutes and four seconds. At first, the room was silent and you couldnât hear any demonstration of Satoruâs technique, almost as if the panel was having a conversation with him before they began. Then, at two minutes on the dot, the room was blown to splinters. The door, the ceiling, the porch, and all of the furniture inside were violently thrown outward in an explosion that made the ground beneath your feet tremble. Curiously, none of the debris had hit you, but you coughed through the dust and saw that the panel hadnât been so lucky, all of them buried under shredded beams of wood and canvas. And, standing at the center of the roomâs remains with a satisfied grin plastered on his beautiful face, was Satoru. He found his way over to where you stood in disbelief and took your hand in his, interweaving your fingers and guiding you away from the ruined building.Â
You two walked hand-in-hand in silence back to your dorm, where he seemed reluctant to let go of your hand. Before he walked away, he finally answered your question from earlier.Â
âI tell you this not just as your friend, but as another sorcerer. You are not weak. Your technique is special and something that those shithead elders havenât seen in decades, and they donât like what they donât understand. I know the thought of leaving Jujutsu Tech crossed your pretty little mind, but you shouldnât. People need you here, Shoko, Suguru, Mei Mei...â He hesitated, taking a shallow breath and reaching back for your hand.Â
âMe,â he said, his voice low, and his voice got even softer until it was almost a breath. âI need you here.â As quickly as the fondness in his voice appeared, it disappeared. âAnd, plus, you definitely canât leave us here with olâ Yaga. What the hell am I gonna do if I canât hide in your room while heâs trying to beat my ass?âÂ
You laugh, and the feeling makes you feel better. He makes you feel better. You smile back at him and finally bid him farewell, and he raises your hand to his lips as he says goodbye.Â
After that, heâd appeared in your dreams for two weeks straight. The dreams started as a continuation of what would have happened if you didnât just say goodbye to him, if youâd invited him into your dorm, or if youâd let him pull you into his. They transformed after the fourth day into what it would be like to love him and receive his love in return: stolen kisses, flirty whispers, and movie dates to name a few. All these dreams added up to the previous nightâs nightmare, where a mission had gone bad and heâd been imprisoned with no hope of breaking him free. Youâd startled awake covered in sweat, and barely fell back asleep before your alarm forced you to start the day.Â
âItâs⊠hard to explain,â you reply apologetically, and Shoko looks at you with so much skepticism written on her face that you have to turn away and look in the other direction.Â
âSo something is bothering you.âÂ
âYeah, there is. Iâm sorry; itâs just really, really hard to verbalize.â
âCan I take a stab at whatâs bothering you?â
âIf you could actually stab it thatâd be great, but sure. Knock yourself out.â
âItâs Satoru, isnât it?â You stop mid-stride and her face lights up with amusement. âHoly shit, itâs Satoru. You like Gojo Satoru.â
âJeez, Shoko, go ahead and say his name four hundred million times, why donât you? But really, what tipped you off?â
âTen seconds ago when you asked me to stab your problem, I figured it out,â she chuckles, bumping her shoulder against yours playfully. âIf itâs any consolation, Iâm 99% sure heâs felt that way about you for a while.â
âReally?â
âYep.â
âHow do you know?â
âWould you let me off the hook if I said it was hard to explain?â
âHar, har, very funny. Could you at least try?âÂ
âMmm, I think itâs better if he explains it himself.âÂ
âYouâre no help, Shoko.â
âYes, and you love me anyway. But not as much as you love Saââ You groan, covering your burning face in both hands and increasing the speed of your steps to escape your friendâs teasing chuckles.Â
When you finally arrive at school, the stars have started rising and the moon hangs in the sky. You walk in the direction of the dorms when Shoko suddenly unlinks her elbow from yours, winking at you over your shoulder.Â
âSuguru, can you help me move something from the gym real quick? I forgot a few things over there.âÂ
âSure, but why do you need my help?â Shoko gives him a pointed look and realization quickly washes over his features. âOh, OH. Okay, of course, sure.â Suguru turns on his heel awkwardly, briskly walking in the direction of the gym.
âSatoru, walk them back to their dorm. Donât want anything happening to them after their little slip today,â she adds before heading in the other direction with Suguru, who tries and fails to communicate something to Satoru with a nod of his head.Â
âAlright, pretty girl, you heard Shoko. Câmere and let me walk you home before she beats my ass.â
âI think you have too many people on this planet that want to beat your ass. And, for the record, Iâm one of them.â
âItâs the price of being this gorgeous, gorgeous.â A soft laugh escapes your mouth, and you swear Satoruâs smile gets a little wider. The rest of the short walk to your dorm is just as easy and comfortable, Satoru making stupid comments and you replying with a quick remark over and over until youâre back in the same situation youâd been in two weeks ago. But, this time, you realized that Satoru was a lot closer to you, leaning back against your door with your hand touching the handle but not opening it. You both spend a few moments there, just looking at each other, and his mesmerizing eyes flicker to your mouth when you unconsciously lick your lips. He opens his mouth to say something smart, but you beat him to it.Â
âIf youâre gonna look down at my lips and say something stupid about it, you might as well do what Iâve been wanting you to do for ages.âÂ
âOh? And whatâs that, pretty girl?â
You sigh in mock disappointment and look up at him through your eyelashes. âIf you donât know what it is by now, then I guess⊠you donât deserve to do it.â His pupils are blown wide with desire, and you resist the impulse to laugh.Â
âGod, youâre intoxicating,â he says, before pressing his lips to yours. Your eyes flutter shut and you melt into him, arms snaking around his neck while his hands find your waist and hold you up from your knees that have turned to jelly. The first kiss is gentle and experimental, but having the flirtiest asshole in the country chasing your lips as you briefly pull away gives you a newfound wave of confidence, pulling him closer and closer until his body is flush against yours. When you finally pull away from each other and catch your breath, he doesnât go very far, resting his forehead against yours.Â
âYou know, I wanted to kill them. Those wrinkly assholes two weeks ago that had the gall to call you weak. And I would have, you know I would have, but you were outside⊠and you were crying⊠I just didnât know what to do. I saw red, and, uh, then the building exploded.â You chuckle at his confession and he presses a kiss to the corner of your mouth, rubbing his nose against yours.Â
âI had a dream about you. Well, a lot of dreams.â
âYeah, me too.â
âReally?â
âMhmm. Got a little nervous today when I heard you talk with Shoko about liking a boy, but it helps knowing now that the boy is me. And, hopefully, it will only ever be me.â
âYou pretentious asshole.â
âYou know it.â
âYouâre a dork.â
âYeah, but Iâm your dork.âÂ
âI know you are.â
âAnd Iâm never going anywhere.â He kisses your forehead sweetly, and itâs just like the dreams that had plagued you for weeks before. âEver.â

Helloo Katy.
Iâve been hyper fixating on 2 musicals. Hamilton and Ride the Cyclone, but mainly Hamilton because I watched that one recently. And now I will bore you by talking about them.
Honestly RTC is one of my favorites and itâs also an off-broadway musical so thatâs cool. Basically what this musical is about is 6 teens in a choir die in a rollercoaster accident and they have a chance to come back to like, BUT only one of them can come back. The first 5 characters weâre introduced to are Ocean, Constance, Noel, Mischa, and Ricky. Then we get introduced to Jane Doe, who is basically an unidentified body who people believe is in the choir because she had on the schoolâs uniform, but sheâs basically unidentified because she lost her head, also whatâs cool about her is that she uses a doll head as her head and she carries around the headless doll. Technically we see Jane in the beginning but you can see her with no head, only thing is she isnât introduced then and sheâs only introduced after the first song. I think the character Ocean has great character development, because in the beginning she like believes sheâs better than everyone else and believes sheâs a good person (literally sings a whole song about it), but towards the end she stops believing that and she likes realizes sheâs not better than everyone else.
Also you may have heard some songs from this musicals from like TikTok maybe, one part you my have heard is Oceanâs song âWhat the World Needsâ and the part you may have heard was âDo we really need another zero? Or a zero(x4). Add them all up and you still get zero, what you really need is a forger mucking hero. (And oh,oh) Heâll never learn to read,(And oh,oh) Heâs never gonna breed, (And oh,oh) going to jail guaranteed, and sheâs a freaky monster. Yes thereâs a problem, Iâm the solution Darwin had a theory called âEvolutionâ, he put into words but itâs plain to see, we need a little less of them a little more of me.â And the other one you might have heard is Noelâs song âNoelâs lamentâ, the part you may have heard is âBut if you do, please mention that Iâd like to have returned the pretty knife that I stuck ten times in his back. For I sing songs until the break of dawn. I embrace a new man every night. My lifeâs one never ending carnival. A whirl of boozy-floozy flashing light. I want to be that fucked-up girl.â I would talk much more about this one but it would be too much to write. Itâs a great musical, Iâd recommend watching if you want to. If you want to watch it you can find the musical if you search Ride the Cyclone slime tutorial on YouTube.
I donât have much to say about Hamilton other than Iâm trying to memorize the lyrics to all the songs. Iâve only memorized a few of the songs. Iâd also recommend this one. I watched it on Disney+, but you could probably find it on YouTube as well. Itâs like almost 3 hours though so I had put off watching it for a little, but itâs great.
I may or may not talk more about RTC tomorrow and maybe another musical too. RTC is definitely up there in the list of musicals I watched. Also writing this made me realize how much of a theater kid I am, but I do tech in theater so I guess that makes sense.
-đȘ·
Hi, angel!! You and my sister would get along so well, she's a theatre kid too and have seen Hamilton live! The only theatre show I've watched is annie lol
The plot of Rtc sounds so cool and interesting! I don't think I've heard of the song before tho. Also the lyrics 'he's never gonna breed' is a fucking roast! Rip to the guy but I'd die a second time if that was about me lmaoo đ

Helloo, I hope you're doing well, if you could I was wondering if you could please do a yandere L Lawliet x reader story, it can be any plot you'd like. THANK YOU AND HAVE A NICE DAYđŠ
A/N: I have yet to write anything for death note 'til now so here's my poor attempt at trying to write L đ
Synopsis: You are interrogated by a certain stalker-y detective through a twisted turn of events.
TW: Yandere themes, stalking, death (non-canonical character), abuse of power
Word Count: 1200

âAfter he clutched his chest he justâŠfell.âÂ
â....I see.âÂ
L sat with a notepad and pen in his hand, watching you intently from the other side of the coffee table. You picked up your drink with shaking hands, avoiding the detectiveâs prying eyes. His dark circles showed his lack of sleep, causing you to mistakenly believe his level of dedication to the case you were discussing.Â
âDuring Mr. Fujiokaâs incident, did your spouse happen to be⊠present with you?â L inquired.Â
You sniffled into a crumpled tissue, breath hitching as you tried to answer another one of his prying questions.Â
âUh, no⊠Iâm not dating anyone so.. I was alone.â Your professorâs lifeless body flashed again in your mind, the memory seeming almost hazy and faint now. It happened so fast; one moment you came into his office, asking for last weekâs assignments, and the next he was giving his last breath on top his desk above your midterm papers.Â
You had feared becoming a suspect, especially with all this âKiraâ buzz going around-- but thankfully the man across from you didnât seem suspicious of you. Inquisitive, but not suspicious.Â
âWhat were your plans after visiting Mr. Fujioka?â
You cleared your throat, dabbing at your eyes once more before sitting up straighter.
âWell, I was just going to head home, maybe stop at the grocery store first⊠though I doubt Iâll have any time to do that.â you voiced.Â
Trying to wipe the redness from your eyes away, you clenched your shirt to stop from shaking. You assumed the detective mustâve dealt with emotional people all the time-- especially from the recent rise in deaths, but you still felt bad for crying so much.Â
Though, you couldnât be more wrong. L Lawliet did not often deal with witnesses up and close in such a casual manner, especially meaningless ones who were the sole observers to a random professorâs death. If it werenât for the possible connection of your professorâs heart attack to Kira, L wouldâve never gotten this golden opportunity. It seemed luck really had struck him, even though he wasnât one to particularly believe in âfate.âÂ
With his knees pulled up to his chest and the empty notepad in his lap, L watched you stare at the coffee table lifelessly. You could hardly give any attention to the malesâ strange sitting position or odd attire that did not reflect your average japanese detective, which normally wouldâve struck you as strange.Â
âAm I⊠in trouble?â You asked, pulling L out of his thoughts on how oddly fascinating you were when crying. âI mean, am I going to be put in jail until this is all figured out?âÂ
Your naivety almost made L give a pout of sympathy. How could someone be so wide-eyed and unaware? He kept a straight face despite the confiction your question caused.Â
âNo, donât worry. We already have a line of suspects waiting to be interrogated, and you arenât one of them.â He replied robotically.Â
With his fingernail to his mouth, the detective tilted his head as you gave a smile of relief, pushing back more thoughts of your twitching professor and his red face.Â
âBut one more thing,â Getting up from the opposing couch, L moved to sit beside you. âThis incident is very important; you may be a vital piece to our discovery of Kira, as a witness to one of his attacks.âÂ
L placed his hand near your limp one, pinky nearly touching yours. He looked to make eye contact with you, curious to see those glassy eyes that he had been staring at from behind a monitor for months.Â
âI believe a followup might be necessary⊠Thereâs a few more questions Iâd like to ask you regarding your relation to Mr. Fujioka.âÂ
You nodded your head, listening intently as the detective dared to push his hand closer to yours. He could feel the heat from your body next to him, your hand so close yet inches too far. He continued to speak though his mind wouldnât move away from the fact that you were within touching reach, when days ago he could only caress you from behind a computer screen and paper pictures.Â
âPerhaps tomorrow? Unfortunately my schedule is quite rigid, though I think I can fit you in during⊠lets say, eight? Iâd be happy to make it worth your while.â
You moved your hand away to grab another tissue, balling it into your fist onto your lap. L bit his lip at seeing you move away, clenching his teeth though not moving.Â
âA-alright.â You forced an answer, not daring to reject his proposal out of fear of being seen as noncompliant. You couldnât afford to get mixed up with the police right now, and this was your best bet on getting this whole situation dealt with. Besides, its not like you could say no to a detective.
âIâll have someone contact you tomorrow on where to meet. Please be sure to only bring yourself, and wear something⊠mildly formal.â
You batted your eyes a few times, surprised at the rules regarding another questioning. But you didnât dare to bring up your confusion, only nodding and holding tightly to your tissues.Â
L on the other hand, couldnât believe your complete willingness. You didnât raise any questions, going along with his proposition and even smiling at him. If he knew meeting you would be this easy, he wouldâve acted far sooner! Though all areas of reasoning pointed to you behaving oppositely, he didnât mind this twist of events. He already had thoughts on where heâd take you first tomorow. Of course, itâd all be under the guise of the investigation, but he knew if you stayed this trusting the entire time heâd have no problem taking you out to dinner and a nice romantic stroll.Â
You allowed him to walk you out of the comfortable faux interrogation room-- which truthfully was one of the police buildingsâ lounge rooms that were far more comforting than the cold steel of the REAL interrogation room. Once L caught wind that you were going to be questioned, he couldnât sit still, taking over all decisions regarding your interrogation.Â
Gripping tightly onto your used tissues, you listened to L speak eloquently on the case and your future questioning âdate.â The words hardly entered your head though, your mind too focused on how you were going to enter class tomorrow. How you were going to finish your studies without a teacher. And how your professorâs family would react on the news you knew far beforehand.
L looked at you with sunken eyes, giving a twisted, creepy smile. He lifted the corners of his mouth like you did, his hunched over frame causing a shadow to cast over his face, bangs nearly covering his eyes as he grinned.Â
The look wasâŠ. Odd, to say the least. And yet-- you smiled back, trying to cover up the fact that you had not heard a word he said within the past several minutes. Handing you your bag, the detective hesitantly put a hand to your back as you continued to walk out. You didn't flinch or move away like he had fretted. Instead, you almost leaned into the touch, feeling a small amount of comfort after such a stressful evening.Â
If you stayed this trusting, keeping you to himself might be far easier than L thought.

Rant about My Policeman
Hi, it's been a while but I think I need to vent about the movie. Being a Harry fan for so long made me actually anticipate for this movie a bit and to be honest I was not expecting to be out today lol. I thought the movie was going to be on Amazon Prime only next month, but anwyays, here we are. I've watched the movie and I'm here to rant because I kinda need to take this movie out of my system. Don't even know if I'm going to post this or not. As a person who hasn't read the book this is my sincere rant about the movie.
Spoilers ahead...
So, about the movie. I was kinda surprised, the pacing is not that bad I think the flashbacks with the old and younger versions made sense. But I fear some things were kind of rushed? For me it was obvious that Marion felt guilt about something she had done in the past because why would she bring the man that supposedly ruined her marriage back home right? And then it all came to an end when it was revealed that she was the one that reported Patrick.
Now about the characters... I could not relate to any of them besides Patrick, to be honest. THERE WAS no backstory. We knew about Tom's sister and that Marion was a schoolteacher but... uh? There was not dept... The characters stories were there but there was nothing left for us to expect from them. Patrick's entries on his diary were fantastic so I think we could get into his head a bit. But Tom? I really don't know what to say... This is a story about a closeted character who may have internalized homophobia and internalized feelings, that's true. But his actions shown a selfish side and sincerely I could not feel like he was sorry for making Patrick and Marion 'share him'. This is only my interpretation, of course.
The sex scenes between the male characters were soooo good. They really depicted how intimate and passionate these two characters were with each other. I'm not saying this is the movie highlight but I was really """happy""" with how they ended up...? Then we see how Marion and Tom's 'lovemaking' was, nothing but an obligation, no intimacy, love and passion. Dull and dry....
OH GOD DAVID DAWSON HELLOO! I really don't want to talk how I laughed when I realized that he was Fred Best from Ripple Street. I can't believe I forgot about that lol i'm sorry, dear... You were marvelous in this movie and as Fred Best too, btw.
The Venice trip though, oh my god The Talented Mr. Ripley feels... Patricia Highsmith pls hold me I have to talk about you, I'm sorry. Ily queen. But yeah, it reminded me of Minghella's The Talented Mr. Ripley and it was just great. Thank you. Everything felt magical about it because Tom and Patrick seemed happy. No one there knew them, they could go out and be each other for once. So good for them, really. These scenes were so good to show how these two were happy and how they loved each other so much.
But then, let's talk about how Marion reported Patrick to the museum people and the police and how Patrick feelings were shown here. Uh, that was so weird... I was a bit taken back by how Tom would react to this, he seemed only worried about being found out and not worried about Patrick. It's like he never cared about Patrick that much. Lol He was going to jail??? I mean, your lover was going to jail baby. I think they could have put it differently and explored that a bit much in the early months or days after Patrick was arrested. Because it was clear that Tom has been haunted his whole life by his decisions and what happened with Patrick back there, he rejected and hid these feelings for a very long time. He repressed his own identity for his whole life, we could see that. But I think they needed to show that in the movies because it made Tom a cold character.
Anyways I thought the ending was quite good I just had to take this out of my chest. It was a OK movie, it made me think a lot about it after I've watched it... So it did its job, I guess?
Bye.
